1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
Salt and pepper to taste
In your skillet or pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion together. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the sliced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
Sprinkle the top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
