- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 burger buns

- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers optional
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives optional
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Prepare the Patties:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Preheat the Grill:
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
- Cook the Burgers:
- Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned.
- Flip the burgers and cook for another 3-4 minutes. If using a meat thermometer, the internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
